Bookkeeper/AP/AR Specialist

Position Overview
\nWe are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper/AP/AR Specialist to join our customers team. This role provides comprehensive accounting support with a focus on accounts payable and receivable. If you have a sharp attention to detail and thrive in dynamic environments, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

\n\n

Bookkeeping Duties:

\n\n

\n\t
• Maintaining the general ledger\n\t
• Recording transactions and posting journal entries\n\t
• Preparing trial balances and managing cash accounts\n\t
• Ensuring accurate and up-to-date records\n

\n\n

Accounts Payable (AP):

\n\n

\n\t
• Processing and verifying invoices\n\t
• Matching invoices to purchase orders\n\t
• Managing vendor payments and reconciling vendor statements\n

\n\n

Accounts Receivable (AR):

\n\n

\n\t
• Generating invoices and processing payments\n\t
• Managing collections and resolving billing issues\n

\n\n

Financial Management:

\n\n

\n\t
• Preparing financial reports and reconciling bank statements\n\t
• Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with regulations\n

\n\n

Core Duties:

\n\n

\n\t
• Coding invoices, processing payments, managing collections\n\t
• Reconciling accounts and maintaining comprehensive records\n\t
• Assisting with period-end closings\n

\n\n \n

Requirements & Ideal Candidate Profile

\n\n

\n\t
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required\n\t
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\n\t
• Proven ability to use financial reporting tools and advanced Excel functions\n\t
• 2-5 years bookkeeping experience\n\t
• Certifications (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) are a plus\n\t
• Experience in construction/service industry preferred but not required\n\t
• Familiarity with small business accounting challenges\n

• Precise invoice processing and reconciliation\n\t
• Accurate financial transaction tracking\n\t
• Comprehensive understanding of AP/AR processes\n\t
• Detailed financial report preparation\n\t

• Problem-solving skills for financial discrepancies\n
