As a Combat Medic Specialist, you’ll administer emergency medical care in the field during both combat and humanitarian situations. Your training will prepare you to serve as a first responder, triaging illnesses and injuries to save lives, similar to a paramedic in the civilian world. You’ll also train other Soldiers in lifesaver/first responder courses and provide care on base while not deployed.
