Director, Commercial Excellence

Join KPMG US as a Director in our Performance Transformation group within the Deal Advisory and Strategy practice. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key client advisor and provide guidance on complex pricing strategies and revenue management decisions.
  • Define and implement competitive pricing strategy based on business and financial objectives, market and competitive analyses, and pricing capabilities.
  • Act as the primary team interface with client executives up to and including CLevel, ensuring consistent, successful delivery of all project deliverables.
  • Lead key business development activities related to strategy, pricing, and revenue management.
  • Manage and support professional development of KPMG Strategy team members and assist with recruiting and training new staff.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMGs respectful and courteous work environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum eight years of external management consulting experience related to pricing strategy at a strategy or Big4 firm, or a combination of pricing strategy consulting and a highimpact, businesswide corporate development department of a Fortune100.
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university (preferred in business administration, engineering, or related field); Masters degree in business administration preferred.
  • Industry experience in pricing required; target industries include Consumer & Retail, Lifesciences, Financial Services, and Technology.
  • Demonstrated experience developing relationships with senior clients in a professional services environment.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and fluid client situations.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.

Compensation

California Salary Range: $165,000 $319,000. Salary is determined based on applicant skills, job responsibilities, previous experience, degrees, certifications, and market considerations.
