Job Description
Forklift Operator
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Inspect contents of shipments to confirm accuracy with manifests, invoices, or orders.
Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading, shipping orders, and work orders.
Select appropriate shipping methods using your knowledge of routes, procedures, and rates.
Track and log shipment data—weight, charges, availability, damages, and discrepancies.
Maintain organized inventory records and report on stock levels and costs.
Safely pack, label, and prepare items for shipment using tools and postage systems.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely material delivery and movement.
What You Bring to the Team:
Forklift experience , order pulling and order selecting
Working knowledge of shipping laws, logistics practices, and compliance regulations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (experience with logistics software is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inventory control.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to lift and move materials using hand trucks, conveyors, or other equipment.
High School Diploma or GED required; additional training or certifications a plus.
