A Nocturnist Physician provides full-time night shift inpatient care across multiple hospital campuses, focusing on high-quality, compassionate, whole-person care. This role involves a 7 on / 7 off schedule with collaboration within hospitalist teams and strong specialist support, utilizing Epic EMR systems. The position requires an MD or DO degree, board certification or eligibility in Internal or Family Medicine, and a Florida medical license.

Location: Openings at Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach
Schedule: Full-Time 7 on / 7 off Night Shift
Shift Hours: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Annual Shifts: 182 shifts per year

Position Overview:

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking dedicated and team-oriented Nocturnists to join our growing inpatient teams across multiple campuses in the East Florida Division . This is a full-time employed position with a 7 on / 7 off schedule .

Our hospitalist teams are well-supported, highly collegial, and committed to delivering whole-person care that reflects AdventHealth s mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ.

Practice Highlights:

• Block schedule: 7 days on / 7 days of
• 12-hour shifts: 7 PM 7 AM
• Epic EMR across all campuses
• Opportunity to work at our Daytona Beach or New Smyrna Beach campus
• Strong specialist support and collaborative team environment
• No procedures required; optional if desired
• Night positions include support from APPs (site dependent)

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Current Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Active DEA license
• Team-first mindset and strong communication skills
• Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care
