Mosquito Control Technician

• Mosquito Shield of Dulles - Chantilly, VA
• Full Time / Seasonal

Daily Tasks Include: Spray the exterior of properties to prevent ticks and mosquitoes. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED. We provide on-the-job training and will assist with certification. The pay scale is competitive, and we offer many opportunities to earn performance-based bonuses.

• Work independently and have a flexible schedule.
• Follow product instructions and safety procedures when applying.
• Travel in comfort between properties in our Mercedes Metris van, which is equipped with A/C and a state-of-the-art blower and tank system.
• Seek out standing water throughout properties.
• Use our easy app on a company phone to complete property notes and service summaries.
• Answer frequently asked client questions.
• Clean and maintain your assigned equipment (Van & 2 blowers)
• Ability to communicate with customers through text and in person.
• Ability to communicate customer feedback with your supervisor.

Qualification Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs (often through wooded or uneven terrain).
• Must pass VA registered technician certification.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must have a positive service attitude.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $18-$22 / Hour
