Are you an experienced leader in affordable housing who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment? We’re looking for a knowledgeable and driven Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a LIHTC multi-family apartment community .

This is a key leadership role where you'll manage everything from compliance and leasing to budgeting and team development — all while ensuring that residents feel respected, supported, and at home.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee the full operations of a LIHTC multi-family apartment community
  • Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local affordable housing regulations (including LIHTC requirements)
  • Lead and support a high-performing on-site team — leasing agents, maintenance, and admin staff
  • Monitor and manage leasing activity, certifications, recertifications, and annual file audits
  • Foster strong resident relationships by providing outstanding service and resolving concerns promptly
  • Manage rent collections, delinquencies, and enforce lease agreements
  • Prepare, manage, and maintain annual budgets, financial reporting, and expense tracking
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio)
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance teams to ensure top-tier property condition
  • Conduct regular site inspections to maintain safety, curb appeal, and overall community standards

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Property Manager in multi-family housing
  • Hands-on experience with LIHTC compliance, income certifications, and file audits is required
  • In-depth knowledge of Fair Housing laws and affordable housing regulations
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, etc.)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; industry certifications (COS, TCS, C3P, CAM) strongly preferred
