A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Social Worker to support middle school students in Camden, NJ. This contract position for the current school year involves working closely with students, families, and school staff to promote emotional well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to middle school students
• Assess students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop support plans
• Connect students and families with community resources
• Facilitate crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed
• Maintain detailed case records and documentation in compliance with school policies

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in social work or related field
• Valid social work licensure or certification appropriate for school settings
• Experience working within school environments, preferably with middle school populations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of community resources and child welfare services

Location: Camden, New Jersey Middle School Setting
Duration: Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
