As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within an aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. This position requires you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to incidents, and work collaboratively with your team to uphold the values of Allied Universal. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities and/or drills.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors while upholding site-specific security-related standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
