As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors, patients, and staff. You will actively monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond promptly to situations as they arise. Your presence and exceptional communication skills will contribute to a positive experience for everyone at the location. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, communicating clearly with on-site personnel and Allied Universal management.
• Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements, maintaining accurate and timely records.
• Support access control procedures for entrances and restricted areas, monitoring for compliance with facility policies.
• Remain visible and approachable to help to deter unwanted activity and to provide assistance as needed within the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
