We are searching for a talented Supportive Care Chaplain. Hours: Per Diem. Shift: Day shift, per diem Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. Location: Visiting Nurse Association - Fairhaven, MA. Compensation Base pay range: $23.38/hr - $39.32/hr Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range: USD $23.38 - USD $39.32 /Hr. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Director, Supportive Care Services or designee, provide spiritual support to terminally ill patients and their families. Make spiritual assessments of patients, taking into account mental, emotional, physical and spiritual stresses, and respond with appropriate counseling and care. Other duties include, but are not limited to: directing the spiritual plan of care, acting as a liaison to community clergy, participating in performance improvement initiatives and training pastoral care volunteers. Qualifications Master's degree in a related discipline or equivalent Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology or appropriate certification in hospital or pastoral ministry Minimum of one-year experience in working with patients/families dealing with life-threatening illness and death Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID-19 virus or have an approved exemption by signing a statement certifying exemption once hired Southcoast Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Southcoast Health
