Our client, a leader in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a Fiber Optic Installation Specialist Trainer to join their team. As a Fiber Optic Installation Specialist Trainer, you will be part of the training department supporting the development of skilled technicians. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of adult learning concepts, and the ability to effectively coach others, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Fiber Optic Installation Specialist Trainer

Location: Hilliard, Ohio
Travel will be required

What's the Job?

• Communicate, demonstrate, and coach students on the installation of fiber optic internet services in customer premises.
• Deliver in-person or virtual training sessions effectively.
• Identify incorrect skill use taught during classes and apply effective coaching techniques.
• Utilize computers or tablets to access training materials and provide completion credit for students.

What's Needed?

• Understanding of adult learning concepts and facilitation skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of equipment used in a customer's home for internet service.
• Basic fundamentals of handling and installing fiber drops and cable.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment used for internet services.
