Job Description & RequirementsOpportunity:
\nNuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM
\n• No call, weekend, or holiday requirements
\n• Must possess thorough knowledge of nuclear cardiology and ability to perform nuclear cardiology studies
\n• Prepare radioactive isotopes for injection
\n• Perform cardiac imaging and process images for physician review
\n• Perform daily backups on NMIS and maintain appropriate paperwork filing
\n• Start IVs in department and assist echo technicians
\n• Assist CHF Clinic with blood draws
\n• Maintain all records required by the NRC
\n• Enter daily cardiolite stress test encounters into Citrix for billing purposes
\n• Enter regular stress test and EECP encounters into Citrix when needed
\n• Complete yearly radiation safety video and quiz
\n• Complete yearly glucose monitor competencies
\n• Complete hospital yearly compliance competencies and Pyxis tutorial
\n• Must have valid unexpired driver's license (50 mile radius rule applies)
\n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-N)
\n• Charting system: EPIC
\n• BSN not required
\n• License required for submission
