The National Community Pharmacists Association, the Voice for the Community Pharmacist, is seeking qualified candidates for VP of Finance. The position provides leadership and oversight for all financial functions of the association and its affiliates and includes oversight and management of the outsourced IT provider and association operations. The VP of Finance reports to the associations chief operating officer and is a member of the senior leadership team. The current operating budget totals $18 million for NCPA and its primary affiliate, the NCPA Innovation Center. The VP of Finance is responsible for the development, implementation, coordination and administration of the organizations financial policies and procedures, accounting methods and systems, budgets, financial analyses, internal and external reporting, tax returns, cash management, receipt and disbursement of funds, and system of internal controls including cyber security. Operations duties include oversight of the NCPA headquarters building and associated responsibilities including tenant management. Candidate will direct, supervise and coordinate the functions and activities of the Finance & Operations Department and interact with governance and all departments across the organization.

An ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in accounting; CPA or MBA preferred; 10 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting controls, processes and procedures in a tax-exempt environment is required.
