Job Description

Our client, is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Payroll Clerk  to join their team. As a Bilingual Payroll Clerk, you will be part of the Payroll dept supporting Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have payroll software skills, attention to detail and bilingual speaking and listening skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Bilingual Payroll Clerk

Location: Newport, NC 

Pay Range: $20-$23

What’s the Job?

• Processing bi weekly and off-cycle payroll for non-exempt employees through Paylocity
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions
• Maintain payroll records in compliance with company policies and regulations
• Prepare payroll reports and audits
• Assist payroll tax filings and year-end reporting (W-2s, 1099s, etc.) 

What’s Needed?

• Bilingual in Spanish and English, preferred but not required .
• Familiarity with Paylocity or similar software strongly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in Accounting, HR, or related field
• Least 1 year of payroll processing experience required
• Knowledge of 401k deferrals and contributions highly preferred
